Small look at my kayak setup and some more bowfishing

Another weekend of bowfishing Brookville lake and a look at my Autopilot 136 kayak that I do it all from as well as a little product pointer at the end. Tweaked some settings and then forgot to take my camera off extended battery mode so the resolution is a little rough.

Hey bro, yry removing the reflector inside the light. It will have a much better flood better suited for bowfishing

Interesting, I’ll look into that. I will say, the light does a lot better than the camera shows. I bought a Hero 11 not realizing there’s much better cameras for these situations so I’m kinda stuck just tweaking settings for now. Thanks for the tip!

@@HoosierBowfishing man yea. I'm a old timer, been bowfishing for about 30 years now. And started late in life. But I started when halogens was the big thing and now the leds. But I have tinkered with the bar lights removing the reflectors and ot works way better for me. But it also helps if you can paint the inside of the light gloss white. It's the way to go imo. But anyway that you do it, be safe and if your by yourself be sure someone knows were you are going. God bless

@@cdp50359 gotcha, every little bit helps out there for sure. I’ve done it off and on for probably 8 or 9 years now but didn’t get really into it until a couple years ago. The wildlife and all the meteor showers and stuff I’ve seen just make it even better. You be safe out there as well!

Looking at doing something similar. Do you know how many lumens that light is.

The company advertises it as 20,000. It definitely gets the job done but I was slightly disappointed with it if I’m being honest… can’t really expect the world when setting up a kayak though

Thanks for the reply. Yeah kayak is all I use, I like how peaceful it is. Plus, bowfishing from it is definitely a challenge. At least for me, lol
