I found one long time ago where I fought as Abby an clicker on the way to the hospital with lev. And I couldn’t move in the water and was under the map . Couldn’t jump up out the water, maybe the hit from the clicker was too hard and landed below or under water I don’t know 🤣. I got it on the Chapter abbreviation I think 🤔

On the first mission after Abby and Yara leave the aquarium, there's a section at the start of the mission where you wade through some water then climb a railing. Right after the in-game cinematic ends, turn to the right and you will see a sign that says "Big Fat Crab Shack". A bottle spawns in the back left corner of the corridor next to the sign. If you stand there long enough, Yara will almost always go pick up the bottle. However, Yara's animations are programmed to pick up items with her left hand, even though her entire left arm is missing.

5:07 does not change the door, but there are two and the other is called a mosquitero, it is so that ventilation enters and bugs such as mosquitoes do not enter

Oh yeah I know but the other door isn't actually there. Both of them never exist at the same time. It also randomly changes in the night farm part when Ellie wakes up and in the cutscene where she leaves.

A tiny detail I found is that when you find Nora in the hospital, Ellie takes out her gun and Nora says “You shoot me, the sound would have every soldiers running”, the gun Ellie points to at Nora is a revolver instead of a silenced pistol, because Nora’s lines wouldn’t make sense. Hence, the game forces Ellie to use a revolver instead of a silenced pistol

Pretty boring one, but near the start of the game when Ellie and Dina are about to find Eugene's little weed hideout room, they first discover signs of the room by seeing the light shine through the floorboards when they're in the room above. However once you're actually down there, the ceiling of the weed den is completely concrete/plaster, not wooden boards 😱😱😱

If you notice, the door on the farm is only different when Ellie is indoors at night. I always thought it was that way because the screen door was just a cover for the white door. And during the day they open it, leaving just the storm door closed to let in air maybe. 🤔

Tip: if you get the stick camera glitch, you can use the aim button to get the camera to follow you again. When you release the aim button, the camera will go back into stuck mode

Okay, that Nora one was good. I thought that was bugged/fixed but I might've missed that. I definitely remember writing a similar bug in that area where I threw Molotov's at the door where Ellie takes Nora hostage. The soldiers that burst in would just die standing in the fire xD

Happy NY to me, what an awesome video to open up my laptop to. I genuinely love these videos so much, thank you for making them. As someone that worked as a videogame creative director, these were very much minor things that were part of the job to suss out and it's cool to see that even the pros have small changes here and there that are either accidents or to fit the mood better (like the door swapout)

When you think that basically every 2-hour movie has a couple continuity errors and things, it's a wonder that interactive video games hold together anywhere near as well as they do these days! In all my time with the game, I've noticed a couple small quirks with dialogue. The dialogue between Tommy and Joel during the Abby gameplay at the beginning (in which they plan their escape and Tommy suggests a "break for the lodge") is a bit inconsistent with the dialogue during the ensuing cut scene where Abby hops on Joel's horse. And then on Day 1, Dina name-drops Abby at one point but then seems to not know Abby's name when they're discussing Leah ("Was she the... the one with the braid?"). But yeah, these things are small potatoes at the end of the day. The amount of details the devs did cram into this game boggles the mind, as your channel goes to show. :)

You sure Dina mentions Abby by name before she asks about "the one with the braid?" ? I've played through the game numerous times and don't remember that. I also checked the script and there was no mention. That would be a significant oversight.

Did you know Ellie is at the hospital the same time as Abby. When Ellie pushes Nora into the hole full of spores when the WLF soldiers go down there they say “Why is the power on down here” because Abby turns on the power when she is looking for medical supplies for Yara. I’m a huge fan!!! These videos are the best!!!

Don't know if the bug is still there, but if you heal yourself as ellie in the last mission right before the last cutscene and the game cuts back to the theater. Her arm will be somewhat deforemed because the bandage is suppose to be there. Pretty funny as the bug carry on when abby breaks in to the theater cutscene.

I'm not so sure the first 'mistake' was a mistake, you'd have to time it, but I don't think Ellie would have been out at the point that Abby was looking out that window, it may seem long but her conversation with Jessie is pretty short. You'd have to put them side by side with Abby moving at the speed that the game intends, but personally think it would make sense that no one would be in there yet.

giving the player control of that segment makes the timeframe impossible. Ellie and Jesse would just be sitting there chatting endlessly if you kept staring. Plus no one looks out that window really. The only way you can even see if Ellie and Jesse are there or not is with photo mode.

The part where abby shoots jesse and points the gun at ellie, before you get to play as her, she’s holding her regular gun, (glock?) then when you come back as abby her gun switches to a m1911. Since her other guns got left on the scars island.

I thought you were gonna mention that Ellie's gun changes in that scene as well. Cause when Abby tells her to toss her weapon. At first Ellie is seen holding a revolver. But when you play from Abby's perspective, now Ellie is holding a semi instead. Surprised no one has pointed that out. I would think it was more noticeable than the Abby gun switch.

One mistake is when Jessie finds Ellie and Dina in Eugenes basement at the beginning of the game on patrol. Ellie is putting everything and getting ready to leave and her gloves just magically appear on her hands. Her bare hands go out of frame for just a second and when they come back they are in gloves. Thought this would be pretty cool especially since it made it into the cutscene.

When you first enter the theater after escaping the subway station, there is an area on the second floor where there is a tent set up with a sleeping bag inside of it. When outside of the tent, a disposable coffee cup is visible; but when you enter the tent the coffee cup immediately disappears. As soon as you exit the tent, it reappears.

When Playing As Abby On Day 2, (In The Part Where You Go And Find Yara And Lev) If You Back Track A Little Bit And Go As Far As The Van Until It Blocks You, You Can See The Ship (With The Crossbow) And Other Place's With A Really Low Texture Count And Parts Of The Ship Completely Invisible. I'm Not Sure If This Works On A Ps4 Pro Or Ps5 Because Of The Enhancements To The Game.

i’d argue that the door changing could have been intentional, to create a sense of time having passed, and maybe for some environmental storytelling; maybe, being glass, an infected managed to get close enough to break the windows, so they replaced the door and went with something sturdier. it also could be symbolic as it alludes to how closed off ellie has become from the outside world at the end. she has no one because of her own actions.

About the first one: i once tried to spot the infected that jumps on ellie in the from a bus or whatever it is, but it was nowhere to be found (specifically when ellie end dina were going to kill that group of infected people hidden in the building with a failed roof in the opening snow scenes)

Another one if you haven’t seen already is when Dina falls through the roof in the school, after the cut scene if you stand next to the table and look up it’s impossible for Dina to fall through and not hit the table as the table is directly underneath it.

There's another one for Ellie Day 1 at the pet shop. For some reason I entered it without a key. I stood near the door and rotated the camera and it bugged out showing me an invisible wall. I stepped inside and unlocked the door but Dina can't enter it. But you can hear her dialogue as if she's entered the door with you after you got the key
