I never really liked the DBL presentation other tan it was a 'big' sound and they did look impressive (monolithic).

How did the 11MS turn out playing open baffle?

Hi I was wondering if you had tried the Fostex full range drivers like the Fostex FE103E mentioned in Martin King's original design and if you know how they compare to the Alpair 11MS? Thanks again for the vidoes.

A bit late to the party on this although I think I watched this months ago but to answer your question if you haven't already gotten this info yourself, the MS stands for Mono Suspension (no spider or spyder or ???) so the cone is only supported by the surround at the edge of the frame. See Mark himself discussing this at around 21 mins in kzbin.info/www/bejne/m5aTfWB_gb53bJY
