Homemade DIY koi pond, filter, gravel filter and Bakki shower.
We Reach the Final Stages of construction.
Only the Air system is left to finish. A change in design to increase efficiency means new Valves. They are on order, but while I wait the boredom kicks in. I decide to tackle a future upgrade now, the Gravel filtration to save messing around with the pond once the fish have gone in. how will it turn out?

@@user-id7fk5pj3b everything that comes from China is junk made from junk that most likely came from China in the first place.. it broke, got thrown into recycling, Our government then sold it back to China as scrap for them to turn into something else that will break instantly. It's Been going on for years. You only have to drive past an industrial dock and see the mountains of old rusty metal, cars bikes and plastic bales to see just how massive the problem is. That is why councils want you to wash plastic milk bottles etc has nothing to do with contamination it's all about them getting more money for it and washing it eats into their profits. This is why Stuff from China is getting worse because it's made from materials that are more recycled than a Victoria Cross!

Just a suggestion, but couldn't you put a small floating planter in the corner where the patch is then you wouldn't see it, just a possibility for a quick fix 🤔. Gwen 🧓

@@user-id7fk5pj3b Noooooo I WILL NEVER HAVE THOSE THINGS IN A POND AGAIN!! .... cost me a Doitsu kujaku, really nice fish, it must have Jumped, landed between 2 reeds and got stuck... I was away at the time. Came home to find it all dried out. I've only just replaced it with the Doitsu kujaku I just got from Perfect Aquatics. Taken years to find a suitable replacement. What I plan to do is put something on the back ledge and focus your view away from it.
