@beardedbonsai6941 I'm in Sydney and have a few Jackson's, the oldest one is 49yrs old and another is over 20 yrs I got in Perth, I got a greenhouse this year to keep them warm in winter as they don't like the cold. I'm thinking of doing some videos of the trees and sharing the progress. Watching the early decisions made to design a unique tree is always good for new bonsai enthusiasts as making big cuts are essential to creating taper. I look forward to seeing how well your tree springs back. I've noticed they bounce back well after a hard cutback, this is a hardy species, and I rate them highly. Look forward to the update mate 👍

Thank you. Most of my trees seem to bounce back surprisingly well after hard cut backs. I think my warm climate has a lot to do with it and just being able to keep the water up to them multiple times a day so they never dry out (timers).
