Great video @electronoobs ... Add a big value non polarized capacitor in parallel to the coil, remove outer magnet which is on coil and try to use some elastic material to keep flapper at middle position,you can use that white isolation paper used in induction motor winding

Depending on your code it may be a good idea to use the timer registers of the atmega directly. Arduino sets the PWM Frequency pretty low. If you directly access the timers it would be possible to get above 20khz which should be stable for your actuators.
@dipanjanmaity66145 жыл бұрын
I think you can use a simple low pass filter in which it will take big previous value and very small current value. I think this can make the move of the flapper more analogous. As always awesome project

Maybe it could be made smaller with 4 layers and lighter, if you maintain the same thickness, assuming the current one is 0.8mm thick. Though, it'll become expensive (cost per via goes up and so does via count)...could also use attiny or some smaller package for same IC

oddly enough with all of these receiver videos, I'm looking for size, rather than weight, when looking for a smaller receiver. Do you have any recommendations that fit within a 1.5cmX2.5cmX3cm space? Cost is an issue, but the servos I'm planning on getting are rather cheap, so a splurge on the receiver wouldn't be too awful.

goood job friend but there will be a problem in terms of receiver comm range because of ground plane under antenna of the nrf module, at least ,you have to remove this part of ground plane or you can set a slot under antenna, I suppose that it will communicate around max 50 meter, normally it works around 100meters, Ithink.

It might be nice to mention that a new atmega328 does not come with an arduino bootloader, so unless you're gonna pull one off an existing arduino to use, you will not be able to just 'upload the code' as you're suggesting. You'll have to flash the bootloader yourself, which can be rather finicky and annoying.

Hey, thank you iforce2d for your comment.
