Hi Catherine! I've been hanging all of my kid's shirts for years and it really helps minimize how much laundry I fold. I usually hang the shirts and fold the pants standing up at my dresser. You might also try folding at your kitchen island so you can stand or sit on one of the stools. That may help your back as well.

Came here to say the same thing! Doing laundry also hurts my back if I sit on the floor or the bed or something. I usually stand at the counter and I don’t really get any back pain that way!

I was going to recommend not folding clothing on the floor because it hurts me too. I just stand at my bedside and fold my clothes there. Towels and everything. My kids hang up their shirts and pants, So that makes it easy. Also, each family member of my household has their own laundry basket. So I don't have to sort laundry either. That makes it easier as well ❤️

Sue Wolfe- I'm so sorry you have the pain you do when folding clothes. I've had several fusions but before that I learned to fold clothes waist high. I'm glad you discovered the same thing by using your counter! Try to bend your knees instead on leaning over to protect your back for years to come. ❤️❤️

Tip for folding laundry without being in pain: have you tried doing it standing up? :) like on the kitchen counter or something like that? I can't do mine sitting down, gives me horrible back pain too. Update: I just continued watching the video and realised you actually did that 😂

I also have been sick having caffeine and the trick has been to never have it on an empty stomach. Even green tea would make me nauseous on an empty stomach. Over time, my tolerance has increased though.

I had that same pain for years doing laundry. turns out my hip needed to do be realigned. Chiropractor put me on this table that releases when he pushes... best $$$ ever spent.

Try freshly squeezed lemon water, I like to squeeze them then freeze the juice so it melts in your water and it gives me the energy I need

I used to put a foldable mat on the table when my son was young and doing crafts on the table. It was thin, like a placemat, and it stopped him from getting stuff onto the table. Btw-My grandniece’s name is Karson.

Walmart has a colored sparkling water that is sugar free, not sure if it is also caffiene free but it is really well flavored, I like the orange, black cherry and rasberry ones. Lemon lime tastes too much like the celtzer in it.

Hi Catherine, I do the same thing for my children’s special first time clothes. What type of special box are you going to use for your children’s clothes? I cannot find a box that I like. At this point I have the special clothes in a vacuum zip lock bag until I find a box.

I still can't understand why people "wash" their dishes before putting in the dishwasher. So much waste of water and time. I will say though, that kitchen is really nice! I sooo agree about the "no fold" method. First it looks so bad and often so messy you can't find the items you want. Secondly, the clothes gets wrinkled and our kids look frumpy.

I will never understand why anyone would fold clean laundry on dirty floors… all floors are dirty, even after they have been cleaned/vacuumed… especially your children’s clothes
