Thank You Robbie and Gary. You always have new and practical solutions. Learning so much from you and your dear Gary. First time I have grown Zucchinis this year. Have Started to harvest them lately. I love eating them raw in my my salad. My husband prefers to fry them in olive oil and tomatoes. To confuse the pest, I experimented this year. I planted Lavender, garlic, onions, dill, Wild Rocket, Borage, Nasturtiums and Sage etc to hide the scent of the Zucchinis plants. Last year, all my butternut squash were stung. So I didn't get a single butternut. I did not waste the new growth, so I made Spinach out of them. Added 2 teaspoons of peanut butter at the end. YUMMY 😋 👅 You are so fortunate to be able to use different size totes in USA. Here in South Africa they don't make the food grade totes You can get food grade buckets and bins, which I do have for making compost in place. Thank you your all your many lovely videos you and Gary make to share with us all. Much love to the both of you. 🌿💚🌿💚🌿💚🌿💚🌿💚🌿💚🌿💚 🤗❤️🤗

Thank you Robbie for posting this video. I've been waiting for this. I've got my kennel and now I was waiting to see just how I can set up my totes and pots for growing my food without the pest problem. I deal with birds gophers, and squirrels. I have not had any success growing zucchini even with tulle. I followed your link and ordered 2 of those racks. What a great deal. Thanks you have helped me in more ways than you can imagine. My garden was featured on CaliKim's Livestream on Monday and your chair tote system was front and center because that's what works best for me. Anyway a million thanks to you and your clever ideas.❤❤❤❤

I love the dog kennel, and SO much more to come. I just ordered another rack with that sale price, those are great. Thank you so much; maybe you can get zucchini going next season 😊 I will try to help you at that time❤

So true about there being nothing like homegrown. I've been enjoying my lettuce as well (Parris Island Cos). Recently also enjoyed Waltham Butternut Squash and Yellow Crookneck Squash from my garden. Homegrown is better nutritionally too.

Some dollar stores are selling much thicker clear shower curtains for $5 - much sturdier than the thin ones Robbie is currently using - may put on a shower curtain rod & hook up onto the dog kennel - will last longer due to thicker plastic, will block winds better, & keep heat in longer, then on warmer days can push aside like regular curtains & use curtain ties when not in use - this gets rid of having to take the plastic down in the summer or hotter days - just push to 1 side😊

I tagged the metal shelving unit in under the video, but he did me I bought from Walmart, you can see how it can be set up, and the dimensions; I might get another one for the large kennel. And I see it’s on sale again.❤

Hi! I have a question about the material of the containers. Do you use all kind of plastic containers or do you only use containers that are "food grade" plastic?
@wendyburston3132Күн бұрын
Hi Robbie. Do you compost tomato plants that have had blight? Love your idea with the shower curtain also using the heat to benefit the plants in pots.❤😊🙏🇨🇦
@RobbieAndGaryGardeningEasyКүн бұрын
I don’t know if I have dealt with that with my tomatoes, but I put it on the bottom so it isn’t gonna go to the top. If you know you have a problem with the tomato plants, for peace of mind, maybe just put those in the trash. I personally don’t worry that much about it.❤

Gday, i don't know how you do it, you both have extremely huge vege gardens, spread out in such huge area's, have you ever just thought, its time, to condense it all down into just that area you are in now. between both the chair gardens and the cages. I have everything ready to start a small container veg patch, but it just didn't happen, i'm so upset, but i just don't have all the free time i used to
@RobbieAndGaryGardeningEasyКүн бұрын
Right now I like all these gardens, the bird garden takes care of itself 😊 I could downsize at anytime when I feel like it❤ For you start SMALL, like 1 container, add more as you go when you feel like it…
