@@MasterCrowOutdoors I have three (3) 300's (LH wind), my dad's, my uncle's and mine - manufactured in the early to late nineteen fifties. Each one of them still functions perfectly. Love them and can't bear to part with them.

Ya Mike the chub kinda made the day and it's hard to believe how fast those bears can move in the woods. If they were coming at me, I wouldn't have had a chance! Glad we both weren't on the menu!!!

Gotta say Meredith it was quite the eye opener. I carry bear spray with me, but with their speed I didn't stand a chance! The rest of the day was a heck of a lot more relaxing lol!

That was my Dad's and I used it as a kid. Just got it repaired this season, but unfortunately she broke again. Tried fixing it with more hockey tape, but no luck lol! Batten down the hatches my friend and stay safe today!
