Something I don't see much of is anyone covering creeking for brookies. Would love to see a video on a local creek system targeting brookies specifically.

@@Lrose4020 That offer was for Max, I never share hot spot info unless a guide wants to trade info. I like to see people fish and have a good time, but I don't openly post info online or tell folks just because. A lot of these spots take years to find and are a lot of work to get too.

Great instruction and love the video. I could picture what has been described, but seeing it like this helps me really understand, start close and work out if need be. Another question, I just tied a bunch of mini leeches and assume they would be just as effective. Ami right? Those are new to me but have seen a ton of videos on them. Oh, used Charlie’s instructions for them, got to give a shout out to him. Thanks again.

I’m not much of a streamer fisherman, but many of the spots that you pointed out are also great for the double nymph game. Thanks for sharing! I’ve yet to get down to Clear Creek, but this video gets me pumped to give it a go! 🎣

I fish small to mid-sized streams, my go-to wooly bugger rod is an 8'6" 5 wt, and I just go with the fastest sinking tip I can find. A 3-foot leader 2 or 3x and a # 8 fly. Not complicated, easy, and lots of trout in the net.

Sorry to be critical, but I don’t know why it is that some of these teachers repeat themselves and will spend 20% of their time. That is four minutes of 20 minutes not getting to the point. The stream Fischer may be brand new and perhaps he is nervous, and if that is the case, then my comments should be withdrawn, but if he is an experienced person, I am stopping him way before the time I probably should. If he is an experienced person, I hope that he takes my criticism as constructive criticism and not destructive, and at least from my standpoint that he will learn to spend a minute or less, irrelevant matters. How many times have we gone to a fly casting lesson on a simple pick up and lay down demonstration and had the speaker go on for far in 10 minutes during the initial presentation? In my opinion, no more than 3 to 4 minutes should be spent on the initial presentation before group of students - - let them go cast.

Lol no chance you watched the video before posting this. He went to explaining his setup and clear creek streamers to catching a fish in 5 min. Much faster than you or I probably could.
