@@Hymn43 You're kidding right? One of the most influential bands in the history of Rock and Roll. And yet, no Grammy nominations, no AMA nominations, or even an NAACP Image Award nomination. No cover stories in Rolling Stone, People, or any pop culture magazine. They're just getting the roses they were supposed to get 45 years ago. True story.

No Grammys because they didn't play a lot of comercial music. The times are different now. All of these so called gunk bands copy them. That's more of enough credit. All these bands using the synthesizer, they got that from Parliament. It started with flash light

@@pastorwheeler4880 That hasn't stopped rappers who sample P-Funk from getting Grammy nominations or wins. Let Me Ride won a Grammy,, yet Mothership Connection was completely overlooked. There are numerous P-Funk tracks/albums that deserved Grammy recognition.

Saw the Mothership land at Cobo Hall in Detroit, it was like a religious experience. Glenn would call it down with all the fervor of a Baptist preacher it was genius.

I was in the 8th grade watching the school talent show. A couple danced to A Joyful Process. They classic ballet with street dancing of the day. It was so cool I remember it to this day.

Just epic! Just want to add couple of perspectives. Firstly, the massive international imprint the P movement had. It reached out to all corners of the globe! In some cosmic radiation kinda process, it had people funkin' and doggin' in Japan, Russia, Israel, Germany, and even up here in viking land, Norway. Second, I fell that the people behind the album artwork got slept on, and deserves some sunshine. Lastly, lets us shine some light on Godmoma to. "Godmama here" has everythang we love! Thank U George, it was a true privileged to warm up for P alliance in Oslo!

Parliament movie starting with Doctor Funkenstein creating His Star child to combat the Evil no dancing to Cool Sir Nose 👃 Devoid of funk who has zapped planets to never dance I am Sir Nose Devoid of funk I have always been Devoid of funk I shall continue to be Devoid of funk Star child you have only one abaptessss I am the subliminal subducer I will never Dance ha ha ha ha ha I shall return star child and so Sir Nose Devoid of funk have zapped all the planets from having a good a time and partying so something had to be done so Star child with his bop gun 🔫. Had to seek out Sir Nose 👃 Devoid of funk and put a end to his. THUG no dancing to feel the funk and got Zapped with the Bop gun 🔫. And flashed with the flashlight 🔦. Has anyone seen Sir Nose 👃 Devoid of funk tell him he will Dance he must dance I'll shoot him with the Bop gun 🔫 ho 👃 do you know what you can do with your funk Star child you will never see me dance I am Sir Nose Devoid of funk I will never dance 😠 I'm too Cool to dance better luck next time oooh oooooooo stop it curse you star child I hate those pieces Aaaaah so Star Child zapped Sir Nose with the Bop gun And all the planets were Dee zapped back to partying and Enjoying life with the power of the Funk Force One Nation under a groove getting down just for the funk of it.
