I find that to be the case too with the one Saint Laurent bag I own (Baby Nikki). Also thank you for the interesting history - I had no idea the logo has been in existence for so many years!

Hi Grace, thanks for dropping in🤗 I actually own quite a few YSL bags and shoes, never had any quality issues. It’s really a brand with the best value for money at the moment, and this Loulou is one of my favourite shoulder/crossbody bags, light weight, easy to wear and very durable. I also like the Nikki, it’s another all rounder 👍👍👍

Thanks Cindy! I learned about more about Yves Saint Laurent even after watching a documentary on him. I have the small "So Black" version of the YSL puffer bag. I believe I purchased it around the same time as u did yours. Mine still looks brand new too and I've certainly not babied it. Off to watch ur video on ur Dior bag.

Wow, we are twins 🤗🤗 I sprayed the entire bag with Collonil 1909 before start using it, it looked even better after the spray😁 and the bag is water and strain proof, you might want to try it?

do you not have any chipping on the hardware both on the chain and ysl logo up to now?

No, there’s no chipping at all, the hardware still looks new, only the leather has a it of creases on the flap from opening and closing.😊
