Good Morning everyone!! Happy Friday! We get to open at the zoo tonight! I am beyond excited! You will see the whole process and how it turns out in a couple day, we always are filmed out a couple days in advance just so we have time to edit and so on.. But I am excited to share with you guys! I am just happy to get even a little bit or normal life. In my wildest dreams I would not have expected to have been closed for nearly three months. Lets hope this is just the start of slowly being able to be completely open to as many people as want to come. For tonight we have 10 people at a time max and have sold 50 time slots. So 50 people is the most for tonight. Fingers crossed that we will be able to allow 25 people at a time within a week or two! We are slowly getting better people! We will get through this! LORI is literally showing what women are made of she clearly works her ass off. She is a good wife basically letting Brian just do the jobs he likes (which is my impression anyway). She does the job of 3 people and never complains, way to rock it Lori showing what it takes to be successful women. I'm sure the business wouldn't be as successful without her. Xxx

It was you guys whom I learned the tapping technique with. I was so relieved as I had had two cornsnakes before...a brother and sister. This was in the mid to late 90s and actual experience and information were scarce. Anyway, I truly did not know how to feed them properly and they began biting me. Yeah...I was a major dufus. Anyway, not knowing where to find Help, I rehomed them with a middle school science teacher. Then late last year I was wanting to try my luck at another reptile. I chose another cornsnake since I had seen your ball training with the monitors and some snakes, I think. So I decided that first thing I was going to train Chile to listen for me to tap the hemostats on the glass or a hard hide or something and I say his name. He comes immediately from wherever he is. I was so proud to pick that up from you guys and I've told several snake owners about the technique. Thank you for always educating us!

Hi Brian! Love the training going on. I have a corn snake and a ball python. Both of my snakes come to the door when they see me. I can stick my hand inside my corns enclosure and he will climb right up my arm to come out and he held. My bp comes to the front and rests her head on the ledge and I present the palm of my hand to her and she climbs right into my hand! I NEVER go in and just grab them out. I let THEM decide so it’s ALL on their own terms. Because I’ve done this 9 times out of 10 they come right to me and last month when my corn was even in a shed and couldn’t see me well he smelled my hand and STILL wanted me to hold him! A LOT of times after I’ve taken them out when I go to put them back in they both will actually turn and try to head right back out up my arm to STAY out longer with me. I think more videos of this behavior needs to be shared with people to help fearful people see how wonderful snakes really are especially as pets. Maybe if more people knew snakes behaved like this they wouldn’t want to kill them when they see one in their yards!

So glad the Reptarium is able to open. With the tapping thing you do w icy I do w my BP but I use it to feed her so that way any other time I'm working with her or servicing her enclosure she knows it's not food time. Cant wait to see all the new babies this year will bring. Have a great day!

I have a love and passion for snakes from when I was a kid (like 6 yrs)... Your videos keep me motivated ... I wanted to study ophiology or microbiology/biotechnology but in my country (India) these courses does not have very sustainable future so I was almost forced to Do pharmacy but after my graduation I will move to another country to study ophiology with my majors but one day I will atleast have a pet snake of my own... Hello Brian! I've been watching your videos regularly since the beginning of lockdown and really enjoy them so thanks for posting your reptile antics for us all to see. I'm unsure if this is something you've had suggested before or done a video on but I thought of something I think would be great for me and your other fans to see. You always mention cleaning up and bathing a female snake after the eggs are taken out for incubation, could you make a video on that process to show us all?
