They have shown alicent to be a bad mother quite clearly. Just the contrast between her and rhaenyra is very obvious. When luke died rhaenyra mourned him for days. Then she comforted jace when he was crying. Aegon's kid died and alicent left him to cry alone. Rhaneyra is seen to respect jace. She listens to him. Discusses with him. Takes and values his advices while alicent literally berated aegon. Which resulted him to almost die proving himself. We can also see the contrast between their children. Rhaenyra kids are often shown to care for each other. While alicent's kids are killing each other to gain power.

Alicent is shown to love her children dearly but is actually a terrible mother. Her pulling a knife on rhaenyra was based on her dislike for Rhaenyra, and aemond's eye loss to alicent was rhaenyra directly attacking her. Alicent did nothing to stop the bullying from aegon, and only blamed Rhaenyra's kids. She didn't even comfort aegon, when his own son died. She was in a bad position, and so was her kids.

SUZY you are actually 1000% correct about the dragons and the genders LOL, according to the 'research' maesters & septons have done in the books, it is believed Dragons don't really have genders BUT since medieval times & stuff they believe that the dragons who lay eggs to be female dragons since not all of them do lay eggs. I personally am happy that they brought the Drogon actor back for Seasmoke

I think the 'problem' with Stephon was he started with a drawn sword, showed too much fear and *then* got cocky by saying "I've done it". Addam was scared when Seasmoke was chasing him but once he landed and was right in his face you could see the fear morph into wonder/respect. As for Alicent and her mothership skills....well, in every scene we see her with her children as babies she looks miserable and passes them off to nannies. She's obviously weirded out by poor Helaena, always yells at or slaps Aegon (which given that he turned out to be a drunk pervert rapist is justified). Aemond seemed to be the one she had the best relationship with but even that's apparently flown out the window.

Interresting idea that dragons have no gender, though this is no biological but a social term. Like some other animals they might be able to change their sex. So if there is only one dragon left, it can become female and lay eggs again.

Thta is not equally true. Those are all speculations, it indeed happen in nature with some reptiles, but we actually don't have any example of named dragon from this universe that would chnage from male to female.

I don't think alicent is necessarily a bad mom. But she's been trying so hard to put facade to others that her sons aren't problematic and they'll be a good fit to rule as a king... She forgot to teach them how and she ended up just using them as chess pieces, the same way Otto did to her. She thought she had power / control over them.

Aemond can defeat daemon in a sword fight. I am a 100% positive that daemon lost once to criston in the show and twice in the books. While aemond defeated criston in season 1

In a swordfight daemon would kick aemond's ass. Daemon has been fighting a war in stepstones for years after episode 1 duel with criston cole while criston didn't had that much fighting done so my money is on daemon (he can beat criston in a fight) and also aemond and criston were just sparring it wasn't a literal fight with armor and all, aemond is nowhere near criston cole's level in a swordfight. Also aemond has no real battle experience as a swordfighter so sorry to say but right now he is literally being carried by vhagar. He is feared because he has vhagar and not because of his swordfighting skills (which no one has witnessed in battle lol). Daemon would kill aemond in a matter of minutes in a swordfight. Experience matters a lot.
