Joel, you gotta remember that the mezalean palace didn't get finished because the end of the world happened. Otherwise, you would have filled the interior more. Even so, it is still my absolute favorite mega build of yours.

I think you should do a recreation of the 1st one (The very first honourable mention). I would love to see what you would do now compared to then since it was so long ago, plus the 4 seasons surrounding. I feel like your building style has grown since then and it would be interesting to see.

Number 1 is definitely the Mezalian palace. The scale of that build is really impressive and it’s definitely my favorite build of his (although secretly beans palace is number one because it was the first mega base he built so it holds a special place in everyone’s hearts).

I feel like the Xlife series was definitely the start of the crazy big builds. It was so cool to see Joel’s progression throughout the years I’ve been subscribed. Amazing work on all the builds though

i love the x life base the most. it's built with such intricacy and so much character. you can really tell how much thought was put into each feature and it never fails to amaze me every time i look back at it.

agree with your rankings 100%!!! whenever im showing someone new your content, i ALWAYS pull up pictures of mezalea and the palace. it is SO BEAUTIFUL. even my friends who dont like minecraft are super impressed by it. its genuinely the most unique thing ive ever seen anyone make in this game, from the colors to the shape to it being in a mesa biome. it is SO COOL. i also am so excited for stratos to grow continually, too. its amazing to me how your empire has an upper and lower section. i especially love how they are different color schemes but find ways to tie into eachother and look like they are together. so glad ive found your content this past few months, you've easily become my favorite youtuber.

My absolute favourite megabase from anything is the Mezalea Empire's Palace from season 1 of empires. It's absolutely AMAZING, props to Joel for the commitment and the SIZE. Its freaking MASSIVE!

I agree with vertical slabs being needed in the game. I also think Mojang should add that mod where you can have different slabs of different woods in the same block as well. The creativity options with those two additions can be endless

Anyone else been around Joel and Lizzie’s channels for almost a decade, and are just amazed at how much Joel’s playing and Building had progressed??? I remember when Lizzie was “better” at Mc and Joel didn’t know as much, like some of their older modded series or their older Mc videos where Lizzie would prank Joel.

what always amazed me about the mezalian palace is that it made me feel like i was looking at what the kremlin and taj mahal would look like if both of them were built together in the same style and location. it's as if you took an image of both sites and merged them together in minecraft

I started as a fWhip guy. Then through Empires S1 I became a Sausage guy and still am. I remember seeing your palace and just being kinda stunned, even though I only ever saw it piece by piece. The builds are all amazing and so much work, and trying to fill out all the in sides as with mezalian palace is hard you did a lot of the interior of most of the builds a achievement in it self, every build has been different and I have enjoyed seeing them all come to life 😎.

The one you made in Grian's 100 day hardcore video series is genuinely a very solid build. It may not be as gigantic or impressive as some of your others, but it's definitely a full package of a build, complete in every detail on every direction (Even if the full interior never saw the light of day in the actual series itself) and overall extremely pleasing looking.
