For the people who are asking why Levi never had a *beard.* In school when we had to interpret a popular german book, my teacher tried to explain us about the meaning of facial hair. A man who is always shaving his beard (which is unnatural) is disciplined, clean and very orderly. All those attributes describes Levi very well, especially because he had an obsession with cleaning (compulsive cleaner).

For people who are wondering why didn't levi grow up more, well just like the others hange and zeke they also didn't grow, well a man would stop growing at the age 20 and women would stop growing at the age 18 so in s1 levi is 30/33 so that means his growth stopped before a long time ago, hange is 29/31 and zeke is 25 which also means that they also stopped growing too.

men stop growing around age 16-17, and women stop growing around age 15-16 (on average). this was back in the olden days when people didn't have access to meat and food as much, so they hit puberty a lot later. This is why eren grew 13 cm from age 15 to 19. on average, a 15 year old male will only grow 5 to 7 cm more. and a 15 year old female will only grow 1 to 2 cm more.
