Hey everybody, just a heads up, but ANYONE mocking any of the witnesses or interviewees in the comments will have all future comments hidden. This also goes for vulgar insults or personal attacks on the STM crew. There is no need for this, act like an adult if you are one. Feel free to call into question the topic, filmmaking, even the investigation side of things, as we welcome constructive dialogue. But we DO NOT tolerate some of the hate being spewed in the comments sections regularly. Thanks for watching and reading!

People are so mean. Boundaries for a reason. Appreciate the work you all do. The time it takes to gather footage, invest in interviews, equipment cost, membership cost to post, then.... the time to create videos. The management of a team... you all rock!
@burningoceanfloor156010 ай бұрын
Awesome that you made note of this. I see some people typing some really mean things and without reason, not that there ever is reason to be angry. I can say I've had a few experiences brought on by my immense sense of openness where the second a sense of danger, built by our society, kicks in and the whole experience comes falling down. So I know for a fact that there is no room for negativity when dealing with things of this nature. Anger, fear, satire... all of these things have long since been outgrown by these other races we rarely have the honor of communicating with. I don't know you people but I treat you all as I would a family, after all we were all born on this world, so I will continue to explain where exactly in your videos I see something that can be altered to better effect at initiating contact. My favorite part of your videos are when witnesses explain their encounters.. there's no other time that I smile as much as when I imagine what these people got to experience. I believe one day you people will make eye to eye contact with these other people, I just hope it's done righteously, and with respect to us all.

Mr. Petakov's Docs are far and above the best out there and the two primary reasons why are, Aleks let's the landscape speak. Slow panned vistas where you can hear the wind talk to the rivers and the animals have their say as well. Secondly, Aleks never makes any conclusions nor engages in questionable research practices. Instead, he gathers whatever there is to gather and lets the viewer decide. My fondest wish is that he never stops creating these masterpieces of art and story telling. Thank you, Aleks!

This one was especially stunning. The Valley itself is so majestic, and together with your cinematography and the particularly excellent sound design and music, I truly feel like I'm there. You really get the feeling for the spirit of a place in your films and that especially shows here. I agree that Bella Coola has a majesty and magic to it that is similar to coastal Alaska, which isn't that far away relatively speaking. I'm especially touched in watching this by the Nuxalk Nation and feel honored we get to meet some of the members of that community, hear their language, learn a little about their culture and marvel at their absolutely gorgeous ancestral lands here. I especially enjoyed the young guy you interviewed, who was knowledgeable, charming and personable. Despite everything they've been through in the past, the Nuxalkmc you met showed you great hospitality and I have so much respect for that. All the love! Keep on squatching on.

I know going in, there will be no actual bigfoot footage since it would be news before the video ever came out, but I can't get enough of the drone footage and stories in these episodes. Always get a chuckle when someone describes sasquatch or bigfoot as "half man, half animal". That's like saying a tiger is half feline, half animal. Humans, like tigers, are both animals.

I was on the south-western side of the island though, opposite from Klemtu, so no activity... just some big wolf prints in the sand. I want to get in some good hikes next year to check things out, the Olympics sound interesting, or there are some areas in BC I also want to investigate.

My comment doesn't, and does relate to bigfoot. Although I may be a skeptic due to the lack of evidence, I have had an experiece that make me question whether bigfoot sightings may be temporal events? I'm a woodland photographer in the UK. One morning just before dawn, as i walked looking for a location for the first rays, I heard two people talking and getting louder as they came. I could pull certain words out, although the birds were very loud. It was about 5am on and late spring morning. It was like a cross between english west country accent, and German. Then these two figures appeared out of impenetrable woodland. Everything struck me about them. I though they must be recreationists. Their garb suggested this with their legs bound below the knee down to their feet in thick cloth, but i wasnt close enough to see the feet, and heavy plain blanket style coverings doubling as almost coats. They had a bare branch between them on their shoulder, and in the middle was a large bundle of something in the centre of the branch. They also seemed very short. I was suprised obviously, and i was making headway towards them. I said "Good morning" in a loud voice, but had no response. They had nearly walked over the path i was on, and the one in front entered a solid holly bush, then the second just faded away very quickly into nothing. I wont bore you with my reaction. But my point is, ive come to believe that these two were just going about their daily business. But that business may of been 1000 years ago? Could these reports, and the evidence issues regarding phyical remains point to a similar scenario, A time jump?
