Comic Con is an entertainment expo, aimed mostly towards comicbook business. But it's also directed to all kinds of other media coverage as movies, TV-shows, video games, etc. San Diego CC is the biggest Con of the year and that's why attracts the most media attention. The Smallville panel was awesome this year. :)

smallville signed a two year contract extension mid way through season 8. however, season 9 has to do well on the CW or the show will most likely be pulled. so do your part and watch it every week!

That's what it sounds like.. I think Tom even signed a contract that was suppose to go through Season 10, if they have one. Now that Tom is exec producing, maybe Season 10 is definitely happening.

COMMENT FRIDAY NIGHTS....I don't like the idea, either. Especially when others "claim" it's the "dead end" night. Not necessarily true ALL the time, like Brian says, X-Files was awesome as well as BG (they're still coming out with stuff). Let's just hope that they'll do an even greater job now that Mr. Welling is holding the reins a little tighter. After all, it is "his character, his show", he would want to produce something great for the fans to watch and love, right? I HAVE FAITH IN THEM!
