14:50 when I heard lex comparing Clark's dad to his own about how lionel was always telling lex "don't get caught, don't cause a scandal" I thought that to be eerily similar to one habit of Jonathan in that if Clark was telling them of his latest misadventure he'd regularly ask did anyone see you do that.

Similar, but for entirely different reasons. Lionel is only concerned with legal and reputation ramifications. Jonathan is concerned for Clark's safety.

I like Jonathan but it always bothered me that he didn’t give Lex a chance and judged him off of Lionels actions.
