Nice looking car. Battery size? Range? The price will determine whether it will sell well in the UK - or not. Some UK motoring press have suggested that it will sell for £35-37k when it launches. If that turns out to be true then this car is not going to be of interest to the vast majority of first time EV buyers - & I am one of those. For that sort of money you can buy EV from the class & size above. The MG4 is £10K cheaper! No contest.

Specs are shown in the first 10 seconds. You can't compare a Smart #1 to a MG4 Smart infotainment system has 10 times more features. It is not about the price all the time.
@colingoode37022 жыл бұрын
@@BatteryLife I beg to differ. EV's are already far too expensive for the majority of potential buyers who would like to make the switch from ICE to EV. Selling this car at a premium price point will not get it many sales - in the UK at least. I have no doubt that the Smart #1 is superior in certain areas to the MG4 but a saving of £10k makes up for that. It doesn't matter how good or better something is, if you cannot afford it, you cannot buy it. Don't get me wrong the MG4 is not perfect (no rear wiper, dark interior, no sun roof option, no rear centre seat head rest etc) but at the price it sells for you can make an allowance for this.

Such a shame, we made evs that are everything but economic and eco friendly.. i dont need toys in my car, i need space for my stuff and calculation that doesnt make me live to pay for a basic human need, to transport people and goods. 3:14 shows how tall the car is, another inapropriate SUV and this time from the brand Mercedes never liked but simply needed to fullfill emissions. that brand has lost its roots totally and I guess you are walking the same shoes. Mercedes Press agency had kicked you out after reviewing your content and it was obvious why they had kicked the channel out: wrong target audience from their pov And now you wanna get such ugly big car and try to tell that the so be loved id.3 has to go for a chinese scrap yarrd find ? I bet VW will ban you and that will hit your channel even worse except local dealers might fill the gap but I doubt once they do no longer see a turnover. And 2000 german subs from the german channel will not change their mind. Pretty high risk gambling for me, cause now you drive a car from a brand that the mercedes guys do not really love but smile, cause that was a mees for 2,5 decades and i had been there from the pretty early beginning when they had hired the first Lotus Notes guys to establish an infrastructure and all the mess when the first had been brought to street and the founder Nicolas Hayek left the company and took the spirit they had had back then. You had a rock solid vierwership and I guess you are loosing far more than you can think of. The MG had been a great alternative for example which even shares parts with VW and comes with a great built quality, but this one is now a geely car with a smart badge and loosing its heritage of tiny small car and mobility. This #1 is a monster, a giant which you can see in the 3:14 scene easily. I do not see much that might fall in line with walter and the ID..3 you had defended for so long. And I write even as a non VW nor ID driver, but a Mercedes and Smart driver, but of cause the genuine Smart one developed in the heart of europe on the hottest spot back 80 years earlier when europe was in flames about the region of elsace. Smart for two was unreliable, expensive for its size, not quiet inside and a mess, but also unique and a statement for the environment and what 2 people need to be mobile especially in an urban envrionment. This is quite the opposite, an ugly oversized monster that has lost its roots or the start of the geely chapter where geely was not able to establish its own brand and needed to buy the Mercedes brand to enter the market. Brabus makes it not better, but worser at the end, but let us wait and see how you will us try to make believe that the brabus suspension is not unique - and especially if Cindy will love the feeling to be the detector of each bumper and hole in the street. Usually I would have unsubscribed but I wanna see this moment once Walter will be gone and you will own this giant car with its footprint build for cheap in china and sold overpriced by a Mercedes dealer. Cause that is what smart dealers are, a Mercedes outlet, the brand that decided to stop small cars and only produce luxury cars for a bigger profit.
