Great review! We like the tongue style too; it's great to customize. I've had good absorbancy results from this diaper. I did have to prep it a lot and give it plenty of washes before it was really absorbant. We have it on the bum for overnight tonight, knowing we will change him when he does his middle of the night wake-up. So we do find it absorbant enough for 6+ hours! I tried only used ones at first until I really liked it, then we had to takr the plunge get the LOTR inspired one new. But $29 is SO MUCH for a diaper, even an AIO. It does sit weird on the crotch, but as long as we roll the rolled leg elastics in, it doesn't leak. For smart bottoms I love their prints, but I prefer their covers though.

I guess it just goes to show how different diapers work for different babies, hearing that you use it at nighttime! That blows my mind haha.

My sb’s dry overnight (12 hours) indoors! These have to be prepped at least 10 times for it to be absorbent. Did you prep it enough or was it just not as absorbent?

That's insane! We use GMD fitteds with two hemp inserts and they are SOAKED at 10 hrs haha. Maybe I've got a heavy wetter. We use mostly flats on the daily. I've had this Smart Bottoms for nearly 4 months now, I only prep washed it probably about 3 times, but it's since been washed close to 50 times by now and I can still never get 2 hours during the day. I waited a long time before I filmed this review, to make sure I had tried it out enough times.

Yeah, I might pass on this diaper then, it's a little narrow in the crotch, maybe on the smaller side.
