This is useless info now. The new 2015 Smart Fortwo has a much better turning radius than the Scion IQ - at least 4-5 feet better! That's huge! The smart also now offers both a true manual transmission and a fully automatic version. It also still offers the much more useful split tailgate, the ding resistant panels, and stands out more from the crowd of look-a-like cars. And I love that it's a two seater. There's also the cabriolet soft top and the electric version. The only reason I can see now to get the IQ is because you want a very cramped four seater. I'm 6'5" and the Scion IQ would just be way too cramped! But if you're on the small side I'm sure it's probably fine.

Thank you for the video. You sold me on a 2013 Smart Fortwo Passion coupe. I love my Smart Car. Parks easier than an IQ, gets better mileage than an IQ, don't have to drag friends around everywhere I go, burning more of my gas. I can change the body panels for a minimal cost or paint them inexpensively. I have a see through roof that is wonderfully fun on a nice day and rear engine/rear wheel drive > front engine/front drive. Also German engineering > Japanese engineering. C>
