A huge bug is the fact that in the Puppy Raffle contract, no winner can be picked if someone has refunded. This is because the prize is calculated from the players length which is filled with active players and refunded players (address(0)). Basically it means that if there are 5 players with 1 ETH entrance fee (5 ETH prize pool) and someone refunds, the contract balance is 4 ETH but the prize pool is still the array length which is 5, 4 active players and 1 address(0), that means that the contract balance is less than the prize pool which always reverts leading to a DoS attack of high severity.

We ask “what does web3 need?” Everyday at Cyfrin. The answer right now, is “better security information, unbridled by fees so that everyone can level up security” So we do what we think web3 needs, and then we figure out how to make money from it later. What’s more important, is getting the knowledge out there.
