I think if you dont have smart devices like philips hue and sonos style products you can go sofabaton u2 lot cheaper and very much looks enough for %75 of people

Hi welcome to the channel difficult and technical question I havent used Optoma EH406 yet it's kind of in my list products EH406 Throw ratio 1.5:1 ~ 1.66:1 TW740 Throw ratio 1,21 - 1,63:1 so you have to think distance and screen size these are quite different level. Epson is 3LCD so you are not going to have color fringing as much as dlp and default colors of epson will be probably better but having that said in their decleration Epson says 16000:1 contrast optoma says 22000:1 and optoma is brighter with 4000 in decleration ( because I havent measured myself ) I would go to Optoma for Gaming with 4K Signal Sharpnes / HDR and more brightness also Optoma says ms which is hard to catch with epson
