It says to plug into a 240v receptacle but the plug is not made for 240v plug. The collars quit working after 5 min my dogs can walk through the fence no problem. Whats wrong with it?

Just bought on of these. One collar is working fine, but the other beeps once when you put the battery in but makes no noise as it goes near the boundary. Have tried new battery and still wont work.

The collar only Beebs when the collar is within a foot of the box that the wire plugs into even if the nob is turned all the way up.. with the nob turned all the way up the collar only beeps when you touch blue wire with the damn collar and that's impossible to do while the dog is wearing the collar 🤦 But when i go within a foot of the box that the blue wire plugs in too it finaly Beebs...smh And they obviously knew it when they made the video, that's why they set it up on the table so it would beeb when it got near the box, not the blue wire that is supposed to act as a fence... This is rip off..💯
