I have a 2016 Smart Car Four Two electric. By far the most fun car I have ever had. Also the cheapest. Would love 25% more power and 100 mile range though :-)

who would of known if you disconnect the 12 volt battery or it goes flat the BMS would tell the high voltage batter to discharge (brick) and take a fortune to bring it back some times not VERY VERY bad design Mercedes pricks

100 mi range wouldnt get me to work, we commute long distances here. bummer. i want a smart but, they eliminated the gas engine . never gave us the diesel. stupid move.

i got me a gas engine smart, happy happy, got almost 400 mi on first tank. electric will kill smart in usa. bring back the engines.

After seeing the crash video of one going straight to a wall at 60miles changed my perspective of this car,now i just see it as unsafe to drive near any cars out there,so wouldn't recommend it unlesss you live in Sahara where you can't crash into anything then you are fine :D

Actually it had 4.5 starts out of 5 for the crash test better than most of the trend cars now

It doesnt do any good to watch just one model car in a crash test you know, try watching several differrent types of cars in same crash test you will realize the Smart is one of the safest, it has a race car type rollcage and 8 yes 8 airbags 4 per person any head on crash test at 60mph is going to look bad what matters is does the person survive with minor injuries. if you know anything at all about cars you would know that theyare all designed so that the front and rear ends crumple to absorb energy protecting the occupants.
