Smart footwell lights in my New White Saab 9-3! Plug and Play Govee RGBIC

I saw these on my Facebook feed and had to try them out on the new White Saab 9-3! Some might think these are tacky, but come on, part of you thinks they're cool ;) Not bad for $30

If they are water proof that would a good thing just in case the heater core leaks or the front scuttle gets blocked with leaves etc. that can make water come into the cabin via the blower fan.

Govee make some decent led lighting, i have them on my tv's throughout my home as backlights. How about installing the Govee app on the car's xtron headunit and controlling the lights that way?

I did actually try this, however the Xtrons 600p screen resolution is not high enough to display the "accept terms and conditions" button when you first install. Also not sure how the app would deal with forced landscape. I'll have to try it on a higher resolution screen

great video , what head unit is installed with the lights ? I like that equalizer moving to the sound on the head unit

It was an Xtrons, but the visualisations you're seeing are in an app that you can download to any head unit. It's call Audio Glow Music Visualizer

Anyway you could make it so that when you turn the car on its instantly green?seems like a lot of fuzz to turn the flashing lights to green everytime I start the car? Been loving the "white Saab" videos btw♥️

Yes, the it turns on green at 1% brightness by default as that is how I've set it. Makes it non obnoxious for nighttime driving
