Bravo Mr. Kevy: Finally a new subscriber, I am honored and pleased to be aboard...left a similar message for Censures this afternoon on a video he did last month re the Bevel Razor (Bevel is now a subsidiary of Gillette /Proctor and Gamble. As is the case with Kensurfs, I must admit that I have enjoyed many of your videos over the years. It is about time that I subscribe and although slightly embarrassed, thanks for having me aboard. Hopefully, PaulHFilms and Friendship Shaving will vouch for my good intentions, if nothing else. I have even ordered a few items from your friend, Ian at the Gentleman's Groom Room (a very nice fellow, indeed). What a gorgeous razor! The top, and bottom plates are reminiscent of Timeless Razors. The handle however, is in a class by itself. I haven't checked their site, but I hope they are still able to function, and not be relegated to the war effort; as many machine shops do. I am still so envious of the vintage Perma-Sharp blades you acquired. They quality of the shave today is an affirmation of their quality. It seems that perhaps bowl lathering of this croap would have been best. The lather was rich, and merengue in texture, but did fade after the third pass. Please try and avoid winter's icy embrace. I know you're braving it on your route daily. Well done, as always. Stay safe, and my warmest regards to the Parr clan.

Great shave. It’s very difficult to continue to keep company operations running in a country that’s torn by war, political instability, or any other crisis going on there. Unlike where you live, it’s been chilly, damp and rainy in my city. We’re yet to have heavy snow, but the forecast for next week has my city getting snow and cold temperatures. Have a good one!

Ho, Ho, Ho and a Merry Christmas to you too! If it's any consolation to you; I reside in the USA and don't watch, follow or know jack about most sports. I would be toast if people did like those guys in WWII movies in asking who won the World Series or how about those Dodgers.... As cheap(and broke)as I am I will end up supporting the Ukrainian financially one way or the other and buying a razor that increases my own personal enjoyment is just icing on the cake.

Hi Kevy. A great looking razor. Seems like good quality and quality has its price. If you want the set with handle, stand, two base plates you end up at around 220 £ or 275 US$/€. Interesting artisan soap maker that has some December offerings off the beaten path (rather expensive though). Regards, Patrick

Ciao Kevy, The company A&B is a small company based in Perugia, Italy. I've never heard of it or it's products before so it's definitely not mainstream. Btw, you guessed right, "talco" does indeed mean "talc" and the scent (unless otherwise stated) is usually that of baby powder. Wish you and your loved ones a Very Merry Christmas.

Nice shave with another not-so-cheap razor...despite the butchered pimple. For me, styptic pencils work better for bleeders like that. Happy Holidays!

No doubt a fantastic razor my only quibble would be the holes for draining. I think it would suit a frequent shaver because the round holes rather than the usual slots. I bet you could hit that plate with a hammer and it wouldn't bend. I sometimes think people accuse certain manufacturers of copying other designs but really how different can you make a thing that is designed to do a certain job. Dunlop and Goodyear both make round tyres. I'm particularly sick of hearing that this manufacturer copied that one. Saying the Yaqi TFC is a copy of the Rex ambassador is both unfair and untrue especially when you consider the Gibbs. My point I guess is that it's nice to see something a bit different even if it's not suited to your shaving style

At first folks were unsure if Ukraine could figure out how to get foreign ammunition to work with their weapons, improvise a defense system, etc. Not me. Whenever I heard such doubts, I'd bring up the Apollo. It was my Exhibit A. I've had my fingers crossed for Smart Helix ever since the war began.
