In this project we have used a shed that can be easily opened or closed according to rain, when it rains, shed automatically closes and after the rain the shed automatically opens. Due to this process farmers can save there crops and in the field or wheat in godown for drying. This project can be also used in poultry farm and dairy industry.
Today is the age of automation and evey industry is adopting the automation so by using automatic shed for crops is very useful for not only farmers but also for poultry industry.
Working Of Automatic Shed Roof Project :
In this project An Arduino Nano is used, which is the heart of the automatic shed project. In this project a rain sensor is used, which detects the rain and whenever rain is detects it sends the signal to the Arduino, Arduino receives the signal and close the shed automatically, and when the rain stopes the shed automatically opens for proper sunlight. This automated shed can be controlled manually by pressing the buttons, this feature is also useful in case of system failure.
For opening and closing of the shed, two DC Geared motors are used and shed opend or closed by rotating the motors. These motors are connected in parallel and these motors are connected to the L293D motor driver IC and this IC helps the motor to rotate in clockwise and anticlockwise direction, so shed can be open or close automatically
