The rollers on your SmartDrive are like the tyres on your wheelchair. When they wear out they need to be changed!
Changing the rollers will make your unit run smoother and quieter so people won't know you're sneaking around the corner. 🤫
It's recommended that your rollers are changed whenever you see flat spots on the rubber which for most chair users is ever 12 months. 🗓

what about the new wheels? They have a different casing and I can't get a screwdriver in those screws because they are so close to the casing.

Permobil sent me the new MX2-994 Omni Wheel kit and is saying it will work. I have used the kit, MX2-909, in your video twice with no issue. Can you do a new video, please?

I've got a piece of either gravel or road salt stuck in 2 rollers on mine, so I came back to this video to find out how to take the affected rollers off so that I can get whatever it is out. Right now those 2 rollers click when they spin, and it's super annoying.

I had service provider change mine, they took whole smart drive apart, instead of the way you did it, and now as a result, if drive not activated, and I am wheeling manually without the assistance, the smart drive wheel make this loud vibrating type of noise, which is annoying as I need it mostly for work on the carpet

Interesting. My son has one, but his rollers seem to wear out worse than the ones you are changing within six or eight months using it daily at college.

Damn why aren't you at least in this hemisphere, I've been searching a year for someone to fix battery as it's dead, do rollers and add the tap add-on. Permobil uk have sparadically serviced them but have ceased to reply and covid means any coms have died. If you've any ideas that be awesome, am in uk, pretty crestfallen depressed and housebound the last year after having one 4yrs after I got one crowd funded.

Mate, you didn't replace the bottom covers. Oh my, seriously if you ever did that, ensure to mark every single screw, and mark their exact location. Medo Hamdani
