I am genuinely concerned how backwards the "standard window" is for dealing with Submodules. They are hidden within a menu icon to change to? This seems like a major departure of how great SmartGit is for displaying submodules in the Working Tree and seamlessly make them appear as standard folders. Having them hidden again seems like you are introducing all the original problems that people disliked about Submodules in the first place. That they get lost or forgotten about. That you have to manage them separately.. Whereas in the Working Tree views, it is clear where they sit next to other files, and make it obvious and clear that submodules need committing/updating/etc

@ColinRichardson we feel that the die hard sub module users will prefer the Working Tree window .
