What communication protocol can be used with the actual blinds? Looking to get them connected to home assistant?

There's a Home Assistant integration available for it. That should enable HomeKit as well, if you want.

I can't find Hunter Douglas info on what type gauge/type of wire to use by my electrician when building the house. Do you know the wire details or have a link to an instruction guide for my electrician?
