⭐You can download the blueprints that I created for this video at: ko-fi.com/s/0d1e4419bd ⭐ The manual of the Blueprints can be found at github.com/smarthomejunkie/Ulanzi-Awtrix-BluePrints/ Important notice: the app cycle time has been converted from milliseconds to seconds in firmware 0.62 of Awtrix. So, if you use the Set App Time blueprint, make sure that the number helper is set in seconds instead of milliseconds.

Is there a way to show tasks in the new ToDo lists on the Ulanzi, and then easily check them off so they don’t show up on the clock once they are complete? I know there are two Calendar blueprints you created (of which I am not sure what the difference is), but calendar events are not quite the same as todo tasks. Some tasks I have are daily tasks and some are work related but don’t have a specific day to put them into a calendar for, as they are ongoing. With the new todo lists, I’m wondering how I can input tasks on a list and then see them on the clock? Also, is this possible on a picture elements dashboard btw? I’m not sure how to integrate your blueprints so things are displayed on my dashboard (not the tile dashboard). Thanks so much for all your hard work on this. The blueprints look great, I am still new with the clock figuring it all out, but I’m glad I bought the blueprints and your videos are also very helpful.

@@Brynisme The todo items cannot be retrieved yet because there's no service avaliable for it at the moment. As soon as that service is available I think I will create a new blueprint for todo tasks. If have to check why you see two calendar Blueprints. There should only be one. 🙄

Great clock and blueprint! Thanks for all your awesome videos. I was not able to get it working, however, I was finding some limitations: 1. Send a notification and let it return in the rolling schema. It is whether show it and confirm it by button, or show it and it will disappear fast. 2. Add or modify text to a sensor. (I know there is a optional template box, but maybe you can provide some examples?) 3. Show toggle status of a sensor, could be done by notification, but item 1 is the issue in this case. 4. Remove some the in-build items of the Awtrix firmware (like date, time, battery and temperature). However, I was able to remove that using the IOS app. Bedankt! Ik kijk weer uit naar de volgende video!

There is a blueprint for turning off the date, time etc of the original apps, but you can, as you said, also do it through the purchased app in the playstore. I too however have the same "gripe/issue" with notifications being either "super sticky" (showing only the notification and no other app views) or showing once and disappearing. I would like to be able to make notifications be a part of the app stack just like sensors do.

Love this. Clock arrived today, flashed it, bought the blueprints... All works great! I do however have a query: Is there a way to make the notifications a part of the "app stack" at all? Am I missing something? For example: I have a Sensibo that controls my Split system air conditioner. I don't have a "sensor" that tells me when it is on or off, but I can read that information from the device and subsequently set up toggles or other helpers if necessary. I therefore cannot use the "Sensor App" but must use the notifications to send a message to the device when the AC is on. What I want to do is to have a notification come up on my Awtrix clock that scrolls through with the other apps when the airconditioner is on. If I try and set this up using the notification blueprint then it only shows that notification, or if I make it so that it is not "sticky" it disappears completely. IS this already possible and I'm just not getting it yet, or is this a modification request? I have other devices I'd like to set up similar settings for, such as when other devices that only have on/off are activated, I would like them to notify me via the "app stack" of the Awtrix clock. And then, when I toggle them off, that notification removes itself from the stack.

Yes, you can use the template field of the app blueprint. Just place a message into that field.

@@SmartHomeJunkie Ah, makes sense. Out of my learning curve so far. Only started this journey 2 weeks ago. Another query: Do you know how to get the Clock to Reboot from HA? I paid for the Android app for the clock and this enables you to reboot from the app, so it must be possible. I just can't find which entity controls this, or perhaps we need to actually request the entity be added? Keen to hear your educated response ;)

You have to add sensors for the events for the calenders to the config to be able to include them in the automations. /config/configuration.yaml sensor: - platform: template sensors: event_verjaardagen: value_template: "{{ states.calendar.verjaardagen.attributes.message }}" friendly_name: "Verjaardagen"

When I try setting up that one as sensor app, the app doesn't cycle any further (because it keeps getting updates to its vulue I suppose). I have tried setting the Lifetime to 1 second, but still not working as expected. Is there a way around this? Thanks!

I was in touch with Stephan back into the beginning of the matrix controller and gave him a helping hand as he faced some issues with the 5x7 alpha num codes. Was a funny time :o) As you mentioned the speaker in this new Gadget is not worthwhile using it - maybe it could be an option to disable all the sound stuff and get the presence code back into the game?
