Why did you use no. 2 compacted stone rather than concrete?

​​​@@RBCHOKE I can answer this. The compacted stone helps distribute weight differently than concrete would. Also, concrete adds even more weight which is why a lot of peirs sink into the soil to begin with. We want the weight distributed evenly throughout the stone. It lessens the amount of pressure being put directly on the soil.
