Keanu is one of the rare people who actually "gets it" about being a human being. He expresses himself fully and creatively through his work. He treats people with respect and love. And he lives with compassion, generosity, and humor. He's someone to truly look up to. Great job with the interview

Around 41 minutes in, when Keanu is clarifying to Sean that he does "Action" scenes rather than the actual "Stunts", Jason chimes in with "Illusions"... This was an incredible AD callback! Also, Rivers Edge is a great film that I am now planning to rewatch ASAP. But John Wick 2 is on the schedule for tonight.

OhhhhhMGeeee! I love Dracula! It was a great movie....and he was great in it. There was discomfort in that era... and the longing, discomfort, and magical allure of Oldman...made it awesome. Come onnn! THE SIMPSONS SPOOFED IT!!! Which validates it totally!!! One of my top 10.... up there with Amadeus and Star Wars...... and.... great movies.
@LLynneM Жыл бұрын
I also loved Dracula. Keanu got roasted for it (bad casting, bad acting, uncomfy scenes). It became fashionable to bash him + I felt like I was the only one who still LOVED HIM + that movie (Oldman was over the top but all part of the fun of being Dracula). So when it became fashionable to bury him in internet love I felt vindicated + ahead of the curve. Cuz I never left!

Love that he mentioned My Own Private Idaho! Hardcore River Phoenix fan. 🥺 That movie got me to think differently about Keanu. Also loved him in Bram Stoker's Dracula & Dangerous Liaisons, despite smaller roles. Obviously enjoyed The Matrix & John Wick series. I'd be curious to hear about filming The Devil's Advocate, Constantine, & A Scanner Darkly. Also no one brought up his band Dogstar; I wonder if he'll ever go back to music or maybe if he does a stint on Broadway, could it be in a musical? 🤔
