I spent about £40 on an adaptor but it only caused frustration. Didn't have a specific ring for my scope like this one.

It makes such a great difference when the phone camera lens is not just stable, but flush to the eyepiece as it cuts out stray light, wobble and then becomes a responsive and rewarding way to preserve some of your most memorable time in nature.
