Hello, great tutorial on how to destroy your watch!!! The correct procedure is through the display. Do you see the 6 gold dots after opening the watch? These are the torn threads that were originally welded into the back of the watch. When you remove the display, loosen the 6 screws from those gold dots underneath and safely remove the battery. I have successfully destroyed the threads encased in plastic, including the seals and mating surfaces, according to your instructions. I understand that removing the display is complicated for you, but only a fool can give instructions here so that others can damage their watches.
