Games are the best way to earn because the top games earn millions of dollars or more - I don't think that people do that with commissions, and if they do it's extremely rare. Commissions are up there though, as they can be very good especially for solo developers.

That's incorrect. Everyone needs money, developers included. And when you monetize your game, you actually make it better for the players. You add new features they can unlock, you let them invest more into the game they love, and you give them the chance to get rewards in game faster and easier. That's value, and that means monetization is a win-win for you and your players. If you monetize correctly, that's not greed, it's good game design that makes your game cater to everyone, from free-to-play casual players to wealthy people who want to invest in your game to improve their experience. And, it's just how things work. So, if you aren't here to earn, that's fine. You can watch another video, I don't need you to watch it. But don't tell people who have an honest desire to grind and make something that's lucrative that they shouldn't do it, that's their decision. However, if you're a serious developer who wants to make this your career, listen up and play the game of development as it is - instead of wishing it would change. Monetization is a vital element to the development process and it always will be. Earning as much as you can is a good thing for you and your players. Understand?

I'm actually 14 as well. I just finished learning how to script, I scripted and tired to make games before. Lua is also helping me learn different languages such as python. My oldest brother bought a book about AI that includes python scripting and gave it too me which, for me is a really weird circumstance, as I have just started learning python as well. Anyways, this video helped me so much. Started another one of my games today. Learning Lua and other coding launguages is a continuous process that, I think, never stops. So I suggest just sticking with it till the end. Anyway, I just realised I yapped too much. It is better to attract clients than chase them. The crux of this approach lies in promoting yourself so well that commissions come to you, rather than having to flag them down yourself. When they come to you, you’re in a high value position, and thus can charge more for your work. Chasing commissions is lower value behavior. It can work, but the best devs get commissions coming into their dms on autopilot. They’re sought after because of the high value perception they’ve created in others, through building their brand and reputation.
