I really love how the Smash Remix version of Young Link gives him Majora's Mask items. I've always wanted to see Young Link in Smash with the razor sword and hero's shield from MM. Well, I got half of that fullfilled here. I know bombchus aren't MM exclusive but they are needed more in MM so that's a neat difference. This is just really neat to me. The regular Smash games kept putting him as OOT Link even though Adult Link was already OOT Link. Plus MM young link is just cooler than OOT Young Link with his items, specifically the sword and shield. Not to mention his final Smash could've been something to do with Fierce Diety Link. I know they made Adult Link into BoTW Link in Ultimate but he still plays like OOT Link aside from having the rune bombs and I'd rather Adult Link be OOT or TP Link anyways.

It's funny how both Links are essentially the kings of Break The Targets just by being able to throw boomerangs at the problem. Bombchu jumps can really help shave off time on this. Its just Link's bomb jump with better recovery

I notice that you keep having to throw the boomerang from the opposite direction of the target. Why do you make it extra difficult for yourself?

It's because forward boomerang will bounce off walls and have short distance

Does young Link not have his bow&arrows/fire arrows?

No, because the Bow and Arrows/Fire Arrows were an addition made to Link's moveset in Melee, and Young Link was a clone of Link. In the original Smash, Link had the Boomerang as his Neutral B, so to keep Young Link staying like Link in Smash Remix, he had to be given the Boomerang as his Neutral B as well.
