I think what most people forget about SpongeBob is he runs on cartoon logic, like Kirby, but unlike the pink ball of awesomeness, SpongeBob’s cartoon logic is insane. At one point he brought a drawing to life. And that’s the tamest that show got. It’s why he doesn’t clash well with smash bros, at least with Nick all star brawl, SpongeBob has other cartoon characters to do battle with, characters who also run in cartoon logic.
