I saw Chris Adam singing with Amatanthe years ago. I checked out SIP and the sound was heavier then. As they have evolved, I have loved the music and the lyrics. I feel enriched and edified by this music. These are people who, like all of us, are flawed, but want to make the world a brighter place with the gifts they have, and that is both beautiful and commendable. Very few people know about SIP here in Los Angeles, but I live them. Chris also has a Soilwork tattoo, and I never miss Soilwork when they are in town so f*xk yes. Thank you SIP.

This song was my intro to SIP, and a friend requested it over our PSN party. I got so hooked on it! Little did I know he probably introduced it for a specific reason, as at the time I was going through a really bad relationship. I even played the song for my gf at the time, and she got very curious if this was a message from my friend. Thank God eventually....I woke up and realized we both were living a life of fantasy. It was NOT meant to be. Thank you to both my friend and SIP for waking me up.

This songs hits home for me in so many ways. I was the one throwing money away on a game and shutting friends and family out of my life. Thankfully I realized what was happening and I was able to "repair" most of the damage. Now I still play games, but I don't let them consume me. I put this song in my gaming playlist, and when I hear it I check how much time I have been playing.
