guess what friend you are in luck smash mouth never broke up i dont live in america so i miss out but guess what some lucky ducks actually get to see them do a tour with those other grand bastions of rocken roll you might of heard of them just a little band called SUGAR RAY who changed my life dont know about yours i am saving my money to get to america to see it because they do it every year i think i would just about die i remember once my dad said to turn that sugar ray noise off or he would leave forever i thought it was an empty thret but here we are 13 years on and still no dad i still listen to sugar ray a lot tho i cant help it so catchy sometimes i put on a sugar ray cd and close my eyes and prete nd i am at the big concert event and then i do it again with smash mouth because they are the headline act

It's weird, I totally get the feeling of a "brighter" feeling from the early 2000s even though we had just been attacked by terrorists in a dramatic and awful way. I remember the same feeling, but I also remember the growing dread war and recession at the same time. Such a strange contrast. Must have been kinda like how kids in the 60s felt pre-draft.

it's never ages a day is it omg i feel the same way its classic rock but contemporary somehow its because smashmouth use real intruments not like these fake auto tune singers and rappers who a lot of the time are just talki ng and not even singing like steve do they even care lol probably not they just care about smash mouth they are in it for the love of music and to push the art further and even though they won a million and they drive a brand new benz they use that to encourage the listener it's like you can do it too i really am an all star i listen to that every morning to get inspirational for the day ahead because those sales targets won't meet themselves i get sad thinking about my dad sometimes tho because he announsed he was leaving halfway through astro lounge but it's their best album so i still put it on most day
