Lot of chatter on the discord lately about how solo is too hard and you're out of money and have to wait for a free recruit refresh. I whipped up a guide on my strategy for quick hitting in-and-out runs to get a few dollars in your pocket to refit and get yourself back out there. Great video. Lots of good information for new players. Good reminder that this isnt a run and gun i am god simulator. These smash and grab runs are incredibly important. With the new barter system, that vendor trash can be even more valuable than face value. Also, this video displays one of the most important things you need to know about this game, map familiarity. Knowing the smaller POIs, extracts, and knowing if an extract will still be there when you get there is all important to learn quick

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. And you nailed it 100% a lot of these smaller things can help your survival rate tremendously. A little bit of knowledge and planning goes a really long way. Of course I uploaded this before the barter system was in place, now I wish I would have waited so I could have reinforced how 'vendor trash' can be even MORE important now. Great callout!

I learned that extracts change every so often right before watching this video. Ended up running back and forth across the map, then running out of food and water before I got to the respawn. This video also explained why I keep running across random people in bushes in the middle of nowhere...

Best pieces of early advice I can give are this: Go in with a plan and stick to it. Learn the map and your extracts. Take your time in raid (if you're well enough prepared you can stay in as long as you need), come prepared, have enough supplies to execute your plan. And be patient! It's a tough learning curve, but stick with it, pardner! Hope to see your name on my death screen some day!

Extracts disappear when a player takes them so the ones that have a requirement are generally faster extract time and a more sure fire way to get out.

Gotta use landmark and the compass and it tells you your general spawn at the beginning focus on getting only a little and dipping and to extract just keep an eye on the extracts constantly and possibly wait like he did in the video

Pretty much what Cauti0n said, landmarks to learn the map. You'll get the hang of it with enough time. That said there's a few community made extract maps on the official discord you could check out!
