Palutena plays like a real Jack of all trades, but with options. You have a response for EVERY situation in the game, literally... The thing is choosing the best option or your gonna get smacked into the next morning.

Most high tiers to top tiers have an option for everything, palutena's punishing options are just more intuitive, making her one of the easier good characters.

I think palutena had one the biggest glow ups in smash bros history from low mid tire (she couldn have been lower i forget her exact placement) in smash 4 to high tire in smash ultimate and even being considered top 5 at the beginning of smash ultimate, it just goes to show how the slight changes to a characters moves (cough cough nair cough cough) can effect thier viability, all in all im glad that palutena is good in this game because she is fun to play

I was playing against a Wi-Fi Palutena and she didn’t even use her aerials. She just kept using smash attacks and specials and somehow it always worked.

For that kind of players it's best to zone, if your characters can't zone, then it's best to poke, and if your pokes suck, then sad to say you are playing a low tier, try reading them instead.

I honestly love her moveset cause she easily punishes players who play way too safe especially on Smash Elite whether that be sword characters who spam Fair like Marth or Link or campy characters like Samus or K. Rool

Do I just suck? Because I can't TRUE combo more than 1 nair on several characters with Palu. I slip by just fine online and get more nairs unless they have a fast counter or super armor.

Practice in training mode. Start with people easy to combo like Donkey Kong or Captain Falcon. Think why are your nairs not connecting? Is your opponent too far away? Are you too slow? Can you do all of the following right in the nair train? -Fast fall towards the end of each nair (if you think you’re too slow, this is probably the answer) -Moving between each nair and drifting in the air? -Does your nair come out right after you jump or is there a delay between your jump and nair?
