So if Ma Lin is using a red rubber here (which I assume it was Bryce). Meanwhile next year of 2008 Ma Lin switched to Hurricane 3 in the Olympics. But the question is was Ma Long using Hurricane 3 on his FH there ? Or was it a different rubber back then because Ma Lin was still using Bryce.

Ma Lin was a tactician. Despite less power, he still conquered other powerful players.

Ma Long has never been a really powerful player.He took some huge swings on the forehand side in his early years when he still had decent competition but he never had easy power. Ma Lin's forehand pivot was much more vicious which is why he owned Wang Hao.

Cuz he retired and now is a coach in womens cnt? He played all the way till 2012 or 2014 as far as I know, and he started showing up in international leagues at the mid 90s.
