I’ve noticed that when Timo gets down like two matches to none, he goes into another gear and can’t be stopped. All the incredible rallies and perfectly placed shots in games 3-6 are remarkable.

Timo is without a doubt the comeback king of the Table Tennis world! He was always a slow starter lol. Which why he was down in the beginning a lot. But Timo, in my opinion, had the toughest mental strength I've ever seen in a player. He will always be my favorite. Especially as a fellow lefty.

Boll really is a smart player. In this match, Liu forehand loop tended to be side topspin which curved to the body of Boll (left hander) and Boll tended to wait for the ball to reach the peak before hitting thus many unforced mistakes countering Liu’s forehand in the first two sets. Then he later quickly adapted by countering it off the bounce.
