Perfect smash burger on the KJ Craig! That soapstone is pretty cool. Nice looking mustard too. Have a great weekend brother!

Thanks Charley! Yes, I wish I would have got that soapstone when I first got my KJ. It is a great accessory! That mustard has a great ale taste for sure! Cheers brother!

Amazing cook. Love the homemade bacon. The Pit Patriots mustard is something that I will need to pick up.

Thanks Jim! Yes, I love just reaching in the freezer when I want my own bacon! I just told my wife, soon time for another batch. I do 20lbs at a time and if I don’t give too much away, it lasts pretty long. That mustard has a great ale flavor, They support US charities and you can pick the charity you would like at check out. Looks delicious. The Kamado Joe seems like a cooking machine! My dad loves his KJ…his “go to” grill. Great cook!

Thanks Tommy! Yes, the KJ runs so solid. It is usually my go to for brisket and pork shoulder when I cook for myself! That soapstone is a great accessory! Cheers!

Looks really good! Dude you have a lot of different grills! How about a grill tour video?

Definitely a good idea!

Don’t mention my grill count to my wife! LOL Actually she encouraged 2 of them that I have! I think that is a good idea and we will do something in the future. We do shoot in advance, so we have our videos done for August already! But stay tuned and appreciate the idea! Cheers!

@@Lynch84 Appreciate the comment on Pete’s idea! I do have a good variety and while we show the some of the same cooks on all of the grills, when I am just cooking for the family, I do have my go to grills for certain meats! Cheers!

Nice job well done. If Jack doesn’t want his part, I’ll take it for sure! Thanks for the videos.

Good looking burger. I've got that smasher - works very well! Wow, juicy! Nice job, cheers......

Thanks! Yes, that smasher does work well, only thing I have found that when I use a high fat ground beef, they still shrink some. A normal 15% or 20% seem fine. I had Jack add that part because I knew when I bite into that burger, he couldn’t see how much juice ran out. I thought it turned out nice! Cheers!

My bacon never lays that flat!
@beers-jackofbbq3 жыл бұрын
That is my own homemade bacon and it is thicker cut so I have had some batches that will curl, but they usually have more fat, this batch was pretty lean for bacon. I also smoke mine a little longer so it does not shrink as much as well. You could try meat press on top when you cook it, that will help. We do have some videos on making our bacon! Thanks for watching! Cheers!

Those are still way too thick. That’s clubstyle thickness
@beers-jackofbbq Жыл бұрын
I would agree with you! I was using a new smasher that has a rim to make the exact same thickness and while it make a nice burger, I like them thinner and have not used that smasher since. This video was also early on when I first started doing smashburgers. We will have to repeat this one and I will make them how I make them now! Thanks for calling that out! I had to watch this one again since it was an older video! Cheers!
