you can coat the fish with cornstarch before frying for even more crispy skin (it doesnt need to be super drenched in cornstarch just a light coating all over) for the sauce, Soysauce, diced onion, diced garlic, diced ginger, diced sweet tomato, diced chilis, maybe about a quarter of vinegar to the amount of soysauce you used (cup of soysauce, quarter of that of vinegar) sprinkle garlic pepper on the fish and enjoy

In Alaska the indigenous people eat seal eyes raw. It is considered to be like “eyes cream”. Have you ever tried eating the cheek meat of fish? Pike cheeks are amazing👍🇨🇦

Thank you for a good laugh!! If our dad got a lot of fish, my mom used to make soup with the heads. I loved the eyeballs! I think the one you tried was not done well enough! I am in a better mood now!

The fish looking good. You made it look easy peasy lemon squeezy. Never had fish eye. Didn’t know what reaction I would reply with. Your style or Michael Blackson style. The only person I seen before do it is Bear Grylls.

Love tht little boat 😆 nice work Jay . Can keep yr eyeballs though. Just watched a guy from the UK Fishing in New Zealand on a kayak. He pulled a 60 pound Ling up from 800 ft while dangling his feet in sharky waters. Was an awesome achievement. Crayfish Kayak is the name of the fellas channel. Appreciate yr videos bro 👏🍻🎣🎣

I'm amazed the fisheries allow commercial netting so close to shore with such potential to wipe out large shoals. The larger mesh helps but its not infallible in missing smaller fish but its capable of clearing out the breeding stock.
@SMASHFISHING4 сағат бұрын
Inshore or out deep you can still catch big hits of fish , the breading stocks are controlled by sea fisheries with limits of catches , banning everything with make food more expensive, less small fishermen making a living for big boats to charge what they like an get more quoter , people need to wake up an support the small fishermen not shame them for making a small living , there’s a bigger problem at hand then stocks

The fish eyes are best when sucked out before cooking - very high in protein as you get nearly all the brain with them. I'm amazed that out of what must be thousands of fish you've cooked, you've never just plain old fried them. The other way to dry them right off is to flour them, which is also a great way to make a few herbs and spices stick to them.

I think chilli flakes and some cornstarch would be a good combination. As for the eye, leave that to the Chinese. They love that kind of “delicacy”

The fish net better when there traveling, just because the water is cloudy dosent mean they cannot see the the they can. If the just milling around on a reef they can see the net and wound go near it. But if there traveling from reef to reef the leed get caught and the rest follow 👍
