Go Dan Go! The ground is frozen here , so It's great to see you out detecting ......but I'm moving to the coast shortly and will be trying my luck, but need a good scoop like yours, just using an old coffee can drilled full of holes screwed to a broken broom! Great videos keep them coming !

Bit chilly then. Yeah I started off using a hand scoop with holes drilled in it. Worked well on the dry sand but yeah getting a proper one is the way to go. Hopefully over holidays I'll be putting up a few extra videos to keep you entertained

Beach 1 as high as it can go iron on. Depending on the beach ground balance 0 or tracking if there is a lot of black sands around. Also if you have a consistent tone dig anything 1 and above on the target ID so you don't miss gold chain's. Good luck 👍

@@DIRTDIGGERDAN I have the same issue being 2 hours away from the nearest coast,that being either Weston super mare, rhyl, Aberystwyth etc... I tend to do these more that anywhere else...
