This specification and equipment is army recommendation. It's only manufacturing that they are doing. Note army will have some say during the trials. So no chance army will out right reject. It may give user improvement updates further once they start testing.

IMO, Man less turrets are the way to go in future. I understand why there are parallel programs to develop light tanks, because there are many imported parts in Zorawar which looks fine given the circumstances nut in longer run, we want our own turrets, gun control systems and engine.

Ye galat bat hai bhai ki requirements badne par kam timely hota hai. Airforce ki case ko dekho mig21 ki replacement se bada koi requirement ho sakta hei kya . Sir, one question what about ammunition placement in this tank is it like T90s or T72s or there are kept in separately, as ukraine war showed this major flow in old russiin design that ammunition itlsef sometimes ignited in chamber leading to making tank useless. And also i am concerned abjut its front plate armours as you can see moving bekt from front as well as back i dont see why they did not covered the gqps properly and hide the tracks from front as rpgs hits on tire belts make it immovable , please adress my question if possible. Be that maybe, but the fact is that the canon, engine & gearbox is foreign origin, is a disadvantage, no sugar coating will help. I'm not saying that Zorawar is bad, but just pointing out the shortcomings of Indian Army's stupid procurement strategy, ordering in small numbers, only to increase the overall per/unit cost. Also it also shows how much less R&D our private companies spend on critical sub-systems, like engine, gears/gearbox etc... in general, also the apparent lack of our industrial capability, vis a vis our economy & our main enemy, china.
